Yeah, I'm just not sure how I want to go about it just yet. I was thinking about rebranding completely for Substack. I might even shift everything over to Substack as a centralized location for everything.
YT: upload vids for broad visibility, shorts & discoverablity
Substack: homebase for the pod and use Substack as a place to find new guest and cross collaborate while repurposing and post videos as well (but not as much since reels or whatever they decide to call them hasn’t really been figured out yet)
I think you would have good traction on Substack if you can think of it as a coffee shop and YT as a giant billboard?
Thanks for creating this space!
It’s already a video pod, but I’m not getting a lot of views on YT. I’m definitely thinking about trying out Substack
oh wow, yeah you've got a good amount of videos up on YT!
you're editing everything yourself as well?
I’ve been using opus clips, I don’t have the time or patience to edit haha
Yeah that’s always the biggest time sucker isn’t it 😅
Thanks Joey! Welcome aboard - do you have a pod as well?
Yeah, I’ve actually taken a break in order to retool and refine. It’s the FIRE Social Worker Show. It’s a personal finance podcast, but with a social work twist. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/fire-social-worker-show/id1752921272
awesome man!
any plans on integrating with Substack, video pods or etc?
